About Me

Hi, I’m Heidi Sen, the founder of Horse and Sports, and someone who’s spent the last 20 years running a successful online garden centre. But truthfully, my real passion has always lived in the world of horses.

It wasn’t until a trip to SPOGA in Germany, originally to source garden products, that things shifted for me. I found myself naturally drawn away from the gardening halls and into the equestrian sections, captivated by the craftsmanship and style of the horse-related products on display. That moment sparked something in me — a quiet but certain realisation that my heart was leading me in a new direction.

The following year, I returned to SPOGA with a new focus,  and this time, I left with connections to some incredible suppliers offering beautiful, well-made equestrian products. From there, Horse and Sports was born.

My vision is to build a brand that blends durability, affordability, and sustainability with a sense of modern/classic, simple chic. I want every rider to feel stylish, strong, and comfortable — whether they’re in the saddle, out for a run, or training at the gym.

That’s also why the brand is called Horse and Sports — because I believe deeply in promoting fitness within the riding community. A rider’s health and fitness directly impact a horse’s welfare, and I’m passionate about building a culture that supports both.
